It was a night of revelry as last night’s attendees swayed to the sounds of a soothing orchestra. With guests decked out in their finest, it was a night to remember as Cream Silk treated everyone to a celebration of beauty, music, and the arts.

The night’s focus was a demonstration of the world’s first hair orchestra, which used violin bows made out of human hair (treated with Cream Silk, of course). Conducted under the baton of Maestro Gerard Salonga, the hair orchestra did not disappoint.

Not only did we have the privilege of witnessing the violins in action, Cream Silk made sure the night was a feast for the ears and the eyes by inviting Ballet Philippines to perform during the musical performances, complete with frizz-free dancers whose hair seemed to move as gracefully as the music swelled.

When the evening came to a close, the guests seemed to stay paralyzed in a dream-like state. After all, with the negligence of the classical arts prevalent in today’s society, it was refreshing to soak in the sounds and sights of a revered genre. Witnessing the world's first hair orchestra was a privilege—we were beyond thrilled about the hair bows as they, indeed, withstood the test with no breakage at all even after an hour of continuous use. One thing’s for sure, we got the message loud and clear: Healthy hair doesn’t just look good, it sounds good, too.
