Achieving longevity in an industry like skincare is always tough. With new wonder products sprouting out every so often, maintaining a base of consumers takes a solid product to keep followers loyal. One such product is Olay Total Effects, a cream designed to --as we've all probably memorized from the slew of commercials that have populated our televisions --fight the seven signs of skin ageing. Now on it's 10th year in the region, (although it has only been in the Philippines for four years), Total Effects celebrated by bringing together all the brand ambassadors, media, scientists and P&G executives that have allowed the brand to grow and remain relevant for a grand convention in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Representing the Philippines was actress and beauty queen, Miriam Quiambao, the first face of Olay in the country. Calling Olay Total Effects "the fountain of youth," Miraim has remained a user for four years. Since starting on her Olay regimen, Miriam experienced noticeable change in her skintone and diminishing of fine lines, sharing that even without make up, her skin maintains a dewy texture. Together with the other brand ambassadors from India, Malaysia, Indonesia and Vietnam, it was evident that although many years had passed since they all had signed on with Olay, ironically, none of them looked a day older.
Beginning as merely a day cream, over the past ten years, Total Effects branched out into cleansers, tinted moisturizers, masques, eye creams and the most recent reincanation with Cooling Essence. So what's next for the brand? Dr. John Oblong, Principal Scientist of P&G USA noted that with the environmental change occuring in the world, the team behind Total Effects continues to find ways to keep skin tolerant of the changes and to increase the preventive factor of the products. So we give a big cheers to Olay Total Effects and toast to the next ten.
