Fear not—a quick and easy way to figure out if a cool- or warm-toned red would suit you is through the jewelry test. Rummage through your jewelry box and pick out one silver and one gold piece. Now, look in the mirror and hold up the gold piece first and compare it to your skin and do the same with the silver one. If you’re more suited to silver jewelry, you have a cool undertone, but if you’re more suited to gold jewelry, you have a warm undertone. Lastly, if both gold and silver looks good on you, you have a neutral undertone.
