Red eyeshadow is as easy to wear as your everyday brown. Without looking like a zombie, there are easy ways to make red eye makeup wearable and chic. All you need is a little blending and the right attitude to pull it off!
Here are five looks that will convince you that you need some red in your life:
1. Light wash
Start off your journey with red eye makeup by lightly sweeping the color all over your lids with a fluffy blending brush as you would with brown. It's best to start with as little product as possible then add more until you reach your desired intensity. When done right, you'll achieve an eye-opening daytime look.

2. Dark smokey eye
Red can be as sexy as black for a classic smokey eye, and it looks best when blended with a bit of brown. The secret to this one is to not directly apply product beyond the crease. Focus on your lids and let the color reach your browbone naturally as you blend.

3. Shimmer + liner
If putting the color all over the lid is too much for you, concentrate the color on your lashline instead and blend it upwards so it fades into a natural gradient. Then, add some of your favorite shimmery eyeshadow all over the lid and draw winged liner to add dimension to the look.
4. Lower lashline drama
We know that blending is a skill and it's not everyone's strong suit. So when pressed for time but in the mood for a pop of color, run red shadow all over your lower lashline with a brush and apply black eyeliner on the lower waterline to prevent it from looking bare.
5. Flaming lashes

Flip the previous look upside down to achieve this one. Use the red on your lashline instead, and if you're up for a challenge, you can even use red eyeliner as mascara.
