Your eyes will be the only exposed part of your face, so make them pop!

After the ECQ lifts, we'll have to make some lifestyle adjustments. Things are unlikely to return to the way they were pre-pandemic, and makeup routines are no exception. Given that sanitary maks will become OOTD mainstays, lippies may have to take a backseat. The new priority: The eye look. If you've always favored doing your eyes more than your lips, now's your time to shine!

Here are five easy, highly wearable, and non-boring eye looks to sport, now that your peepers will be flying solo! They're by no means time-consuming, and will surely make a statement.

1. Iridiscent inner corner of the eye

This look is easier than a cat eye, yet holds just the same (if not more) spice and bite. Lively and ethereal, it's the midpoint between a natural face beat, and a full-on fairy glam. With a dampened round precision brush, simply dab a colored glitter or frosted eyeshadow onto your inner corner, or, if you wish, until the middle of your lid, as seen on Rei. The shine will enliven your eyes! For definition and contrast against the the shimmer, make sure to tightline your tear ducts with a brown pencil liner.

2. K-Beauty-inspired brown eyeliner

Black has always been the go-to color for eyeliner, but brown hits differently. For your next cat eye endeavor, grab a brown pen eyeliner, or even a pigmented brown eyeshadow! Armed with an eyeliner brush, dip into a dark brown eyeshadow and go for that softly sultry, Korean beauty-inspired feline flick!

3. Soft pink

Girly and soft, this eye look is youthfully fresh. If you're a blush girl saddened by the fact that a face mask will be covering most of your face, don't worry— you can relocate your blush indulgence to your eyes! You can opt for a nearly-nude peach shade, or one that leans coolly into fuchsia. Grab a fluffy brush and evenly spread your chosen pink shadow across your lid! Add a similarly-colored shimmer shade along your lower lashline and inner corner, as seen on Raiza

4. Touch of bronze

A soft, smokey look will never go out of fashion. Consider it an unbeatable staple. Deepen your eyes and tease a little drama with a slightly shimmery bronze eyeshadow. If you have a cream shadow in a raw sienna hue, pat it gently onto your lid with a clean finger. You can also take a light brown eyeliner pencil, run it across your lashline, and buff it out with a dense brush. If you're in the mood for some glitter, evenly apply a shimmery tan eyeshadow.

5. Spotlit lashes

Not feeling eyeshadow? Let your lashes do the talking. Sweep a neutral shade over your lids and grab your holy grail mascara! For this look, the key is to make your eyelashes look as lightweight and natural as possible. If you want to wear falsies, go for a feather-light, wispy pair. You can cut the band in half or in three, for easier application and a more organic appearance. Another falsie hack that changed my life: Glue them under your real lashes, not above them. This eliminates the thick band that gives away the presence of falsies. Enjoy!
