Everyone knows that for a show to be a major success, all elements must be considered. Part of a well-thought-out collection includes great hair and makeup that should make and not break the looks. Who impressed us by giving an overall performance? Scroll down to see!
A huge chunk of the reason we are so obsessed with Arnold Galang’s collection was because of the styling! Aside from the sandals we’re planning to get for ourselves, the dark aesthetic was solidified and well-complemented by the frizzed out hair and red lip that peeps out of the shaded faces. The hidden eyes added a delicious touch of mystery that we obviously loved.
Smoked out dark lids with a matching thick feline flick and nude pouts were the perfect side to Ditta Sandico’s graphic main dish. The vibrant headpieces were quirky yet stylish enough to give the collection a hint of fun while still looking chic. This is a look you can totally cop for Friday nights out!
It’s impossible not to notice Boyet Dysangco’s attempt to stand out. Bronzed out foreheads in a tangy orange with golden pigments coupled with intensely volumized updos are not to be copped for everyday or party looks, but it made his collection memorable as not a lot of designers went for it in the makeup department this season.
When Happy’s first model came down the runway, we can’t deny that it woke us up. She wins the showstopping award with her embellished hosiery, chunky platforms, topped off with crazy fun head pieces that surely glued our eyes to her collection from model after model.
