3 Ways to Repair Dry, Damaged Hair
Get your locks back in shape!

If your hair is hydrated and overall healthy, it won't matter if it's straight, curly, or wavy. Because with all the things that can possibly damage our hair these days, keeping our locks strong and smooth should be our ultimate priority. And if you're currently struggling in that department after years of using drying shampoos and undergoing damaging hair treatments, here's a quick list of remedies that might do the trick for you!

EASY: Use conditioners and hair masks that actually work.

As they say, real change starts at home. In this case for your hair, the products you use daily can make the most difference. Use a conditioner that has healthy ingredients like keratin, and apply repleneshing oils like argan and coconut as hair masks to breathe life into your hair. Don't forget leave-in conditioners for extra hydration throughout the day, too!

MODERATE: Get a salon treatment!

When at-home treatments aren't enough, it's time to consult a hair professional. Ask your favorite salon and hair expert about what kind of treatments they recommend for you, but we do suggest staying away from things like rebonding and hot oil treatments just in case you're tempted. The Satin Ritual and Deep Nourishing Ritual over at the Kérastase Institute and Bench Fix Lab promise amazing results for dry hair, while Jing Monis Salon is recommended for their Keratin Treatment.

HARD: Consider hair transplants.

You may have never heard of it, but you absolutely can get hair transplants. Of course, this is only for those of you who have hair so damaged that strands are falling right off. Because at this point, your hair needs more than normal hair treatments. Like many plastic surgery procedures, hair transplants will remove a strip of hair from a section that's quite healthy then implant it to your problem areas. Check out the Hair Transplantation Procedures over at Svenson to see if it's for you!
