3 Sheer Foundations to Achieve Glowing Skin Check out these barely-there formulas!

Skin will always be in. But for those of us who still can't seem to face the world completely bare, you can rely on today's new-generation foundations that go on ultra sheer but still miraculously manage to hide flaws. The result? Skin that looks fresh, youthful, and best of all, not too made up. Here, we review three of the most popular ones in the market.

For purposes of comparison, foundation was applied on only the right side of the face.

Guerlain Lingerie Liquid Foundation, P3100, Rustan's

The newly improved formula provides a wee bit more coverage than when it was first launched. If you've got old acne scars or visible pigmentation, this ought to hide them well—without the heaviness of a matte or full coverage foundation. The only setback? The finish isn't matte but isn't dewy either so you may need to swipe on some highlighter if you're going for that uber cute dewy look.

Pond's Age Miracle BB Cream, P499, Department Stores

This one's my fave because aside from its awesome price point, it's armed with a relatively high SPF (30). This means that it can double as your sunscreen and save you some time in the mornings. This tinted cream spreads easily and evenly, and covers imperfections in the subtlest manner.

MAC Lightful C Quick Finish Compact, P2399, Rockwell

Cushion compacts are all the rage these days, and we can see why—they dispense just the right amount of product every single time. MAC's Lightful is semi-matte but because it's armed with brightening ingredients, it tends to leave skin with a lighter overall appearance. I would recommend using this on areas where you feel your skin looks dull or lackluster as it's able to give tired looking complexion a much-needed boost.
