As we’ve seen in previous seasons of fashion week, hair has never had a bigger moment than what it’s having now. While a great number of designers opted to go with their models’ natural hair (as opposed to having a uniform style throughout the show) others couldn’t resist the urge of whipping out the styling to achieve the trends we’ll be sporting when the temperatures rise. Here, we review some of the more prominent hair styles we’ve seen dominate the spring runways.
The Look: Uptown Sleek
Seen at: Carolina Herrera
How to get it: After washing your hair, take two to three pumps of hair serum and spread evenly through your damp hair working the product in from the ends and mid-lengths up to the roots. Next, blow dry hair straight with a round brush and once that’s done, iron it out in sections to achieve that sleek and straight look. Seal it in with extra hold hair spray to keep flyaways at bay.

The Look: Diane Curls
Seen at: Diane Von Furstenberg
How to get it: Now here’s a style that really takes its toll on your hair. To keep your tresses protected, start by using a leave-in treatment on damp hair. Next, blow dry hair but make sure to angle the dryer downwards to avoid frizz. Once that’s done, coil small sections of hair around a curling wand until the curls are set. Repeat this step until you achieve a head full of thick curls. Lastly, flip hair over and set with extra hold hair spray.
The Look: Copper Waves

How to get it: Again, using TRESemmé’s Platinum Strength Stay Soft Leave In Treatment, evenly coat hair to prep it for styling and to lessen heat damage. Next, part hair down the middle and blow dry using a big round brush to create volume. With a curling iron, curl sections away from the part to create big waves. Brush out the curls using a wide tooth comb and set in place with hair spray.
Pro Tip: With the Manila heat hotter than ever and with styling adding to the damage being done to your hair, always make sure you keep it nourished with an at-home treatment you can easily do. Try TRESemmé’s Platinum Strength Mask once a week to bring the life back to your strands.
