I’ve been into chambray tops for a long time—I think it’s the next best thing to a white shirt. I can wear it with almost anything I have in my closet, from skinny jeans to frilly skirts. And because of this fashion obsession, I let my digits take a rest from neons and jumped over to a delicate shade. Deborah Lippmann’s spring offering, Blue Orchid, reminds me of my chambray love affair. Despite blue being perseved as a more masculine shade than pink and purple, I felt girly all of a sudden after having each nail coated with the creamy, baby blue lacquer. As I stared in awe at the lovely, milky blue polish on my fingers, I decided to add a sunny touch to my week-starter mani. I swiped on Build Me Up Buttercup, a butter yellow polish on the tips.
Both shades are part of Deborah Lippmann's Spring Reveries collection, a delightful line-up of six macaron-inspired colors.
