Our top picks of the night!

Arguably the biggest red carpet event of the year, Star Magic Ball gathers the brightest of stars under one roof. All dressed to the nines with their respective glam teams in tow, this year's attendees made sure to bring out their A-game in the style department. But amidst the sea of local celebrities who impressed us on the red carpet, there were a few who undeniably stood out. Here, we zoom in on the best dressed ladies who put their best Louboutin-clad foot forward and effortlessly stole the evening's thunder.

Leila Alcasid

A Star Magic Ball first-timer, Leila Alcasid showed no sign of red carpet jitters. Her two-piece dress by Cheetah Rivera was both fun and fashion-forward, complete with floral appliques that added a dainty yet age-appropriate element. If this were high school, we'd crown her prom queen in an instant!

Kathryn Bernardo

As her legions of fans eagerly waited for her to walk down the red carpet, Kathryn Bernardo didn’t disappoint when she showed up in a Pinterest-worthy, fully beaded Patricia Santos number. The Queen of Hearts flaunted her sun-kissed décolletage with her long wavy locks brushing against her bare back, and—we dare say—this may very well be her most ethereal red carpet appearance to date.

Maymay Entrata

A red carpet event is never complete without a princess moment, and Maymay Entrata definitely ran away as the belle of the ball this year. Her grandiose Mark Bumgarner gown decked out with white pearls and Swarovski crystals fit her like a glove, complemented by her sleek jet black hair parted in the middle. The end-result? A breathtaking picture that seemingly came straight out of a fairytale book.

Yeng Constantino

This powder blue faux leather gown by Jaggy Glarino says everything there is to say about why Yeng Constantino is this country's pop rock superstar—unorthodox neckline, clean yet edgy tailoring, and an overall minimalist look that still has a rockstar's attitude written all over it.

Julia Barretto

Veering away from her usual sweet and princess-y frocks, Julia Barretto shone bright sporting a classic feminine silhouette that shows off her curves in the most tasteful way. This intricately beaded Mark Bumgarner creation set her apart from a roomful of overaccessorized guests in frou frou skirts. Plus points for that clean, sleek 'do!

Another Mark Bumgarner muse hit the nail on the head with an all-black look accented by a gold neckpiece. Jodi Sta. Maria took a risk and won big with her play on textures and sophisticated take on a two-piece ensemble.

Liza Soberano

No surprise here! A serial red carpet killer, the effortlessly poised Liza Soberano took our breath away for the nth time this year—this time around, she did so with an off-the-rack corset dress from Dior. It's sexy without showing too much skin, and statement-making without trying too hard.

Coleen Garcia

Coleen Garcia's Popo Go gown may feature a classic feminine silhouette from afar, but up close, there are edgy elements that tie the whole look together: silver chains dangling from her black column dress, metallic foils accenting her low, clean bun, and gunmetal gray smokey eyes powering her smize. Overall, an unexpected yet welcome surprise on the red carpet!

Elisse Joson

Elisse Joson set the bar high for those who walked behind her on the red carpet. The young actress' Michael Leyva frock reminded us of The Great Gatsby but with a modern spin—it wasn't shy on embellishments, and the feathered skirt took the drama several notches higher. Not to mention, she totally made a case for bejeweled barrettes and its huuuge comeback this season!

Sarah Lahbati

Clad in a fully sequined black jumpsuit by Mark Bumgarner, the actress took us back to the '80s and turned up the glam with her dramatic sleeve and tulle train strategically peering from the back of her outfit. Sarah Lahbati is pregnant, proud, and rocking it!
