"I think it's important to make space, but it's more important to recycle, reuse, and rotate items when we can," Shaira explains. "Whether you're closet cleaning to make space for more stuff, or to have a new lifestyle, it seems like a healthy exercise for your well-being," she adds. Stylist Austin Cortiguerra further explains that closet cleanups help in decluttering as this is "a forever work in progress."
