Do you remember when Anne Curtis wore a Michael Cinco frock?

Star Magic Ball is just a few days away and like you, we're highly anticipating the glitz and glamour on the brightest night in local show business. But as we wait for this year's event, let's walk down memory lane and look back on the most memorable fashion moments that have been forever etched in our minds. Read on to see our faves!

1. Anne Curtis, 2010

It's been a while since we last saw Anne grace the Star Magic Ball. But we still can't get over her white mermaid Michael Cinco gown that cascaded into a pool of feathers at her feet. The form-fitting embellished gown was complemented with a beauty look that was just as memorable—a full set of fringe and dark lips.

2. Maricar Reyes, 2013

We dressed up with Maricar a few years back when she wore a black and white hand-beaded Rhett Eala column gown for the night. She even did her own makeup and had her hair up in a sleek bun so as not to take the focus away from her glamorous gown.

3. Bea Alonzo, 2014

Bea has always been a head-turner, with her fine features and porcelain skin. But in her beaded Pronovias gown, China-chop wig, and dark lips, we came to know Bea as a sartorial risk-taker. That same year, she further surprised us by channeling The Great Gatsby's Carey Mulligan in a 1920s flapper girl-inpsired look for her second outfit change.

4. Kim Jones, 2014

In 2014, Kim Jones was a newcomer to the Star Magic Ball but certainly not a neophyte in the style department. Despite being pressed for time to prepare for the said event, this Preview girl proved she could shine through, style-wise. Clad in a minimal Jun Escario gown with a deep plunging neckline, Ms. Jones did her own makeup, painted her own nails, and sashayed down the red carpet like she'd been doing it for years.

5. Jodi Sta. Maria, 2014

Jodi received flak for wearing this white Joey Samson suit. In fact, she landed on many worst dressed lists. But here at Preview, we celebrate fashion risks and standout details. Granted, the suit could have made do with less buttons and a shorter train, but we're still applauding Jodi for sporting a tailored suit in a sea of frocks.

6. Georgina Wilson, 2014

It girl Georgina Wilson has always been obsessed with blazers so it's not really surprising she wore one on the red carpet. That said, this leg-baring Balmain suit dress is one of our favorites. Like Jodi, Georgina was a standout among the embellished ensembles that night.

7. Kathyrn Bernardo, 2014

Kathryn had just turned 18 at that time but was already signaling her style potential, attending that year's Star Magic Ball clad in this feathery Albert Andrada frock. She kept her look fresh and simple, with a wavy 'do and a touch of red on her lips to accent her ensemble.

8. Tootsy Angara, 2015

Tootsy Angara is a force to be reckoned with when it comes to elegant dressing. Just take a look at her white shoulder-baring textured Rajo Laurel gown. Knowing the dress would already be a standout, Tootsy pared down her beauty look, opted for simple drop earrings, and put on a pair of gold Gucci open-toe pumps to put the whole outfit together.

9. Bea Alonzo, 2016

We had to stop and take a huge breath when we saw Bea step out in this glitzy Tom Ford number last year. We don't know what we love best about it, TBH. The leg-baring slit, the asymmetric sleeves, the subtle sliver of skin on her left side, or the thick velvet choker? One thing for sure: This ensemble proved that fit is everything.

10. Liza Soberano, 2016

We almost forgot about the black and white dress code when Liza showed up in an embroidered powder blue Michael Cinco gown that easily cemented her place on our Best Dressed List last year. The best part of this gown though, we have to say, are the pockets! How convenient!
