Being a photographer may sound like a cool job, and for what it’s worth, it really is. But mind you, there’s more to it than lugging around a camera and just clicking away! Photography is a rigorous process, and it’s a very technical form of art that you can’t simply cheat with some mad Photoshop skills. And if you think you can fake it and get away with it just by buying yourself a fancy new lens, then that’s where you’re dead wrong.

In the second leg of Preview’s Fashion Insiders series, we invited some of our favorite photographers to talk about their beloved craft—how they started, what keeps them going, and why this job is definitely worth all the hard work they put in. Watch the video below and hear it straight from Shaira Luna, Magic Liwanag, Koji Arboleda, Erwin Canlas, Miguel Alomajan, and Andrea Beldua.
