Joey Samson takes a slightly different route for his 10th anniversary collection, aptly called Detour. While his signature menswear-inspired aesthetic is still intact, he deviates a little by mixing this with softer fabrics such as jersey spandex, cotton, and tulle. And if you're used to seeing somber hues in Joey's past collections, his latest one comes in colors ranging from ivory to camel and beige, to shades of gunmetal and navy to magenta.
" I used the idea of hybrid or crossover, which is evident in most pieces by way of insertions de-paneling, fabric collage, and decontextualizing suit construction," Joey says of his collection.
