To launch the arrival of the Spring-Summer 2011 accessories collection as well as a newly renovated boutique, press and special clients were treated to a viewing of the ‘70s-inspired clothing collection of Marc Jacobs. While the bohemian garb, with their sultry, “hedonistic summer night” hues, won’t actually be available here, seeing them paired with the handbags off the retail shelf was a smart way to get shopping appetites whet.
The Greenbelt 4 store has been refurbished following the design of New York-based designer Stephan Jaklitsch, who also designed the brand’s exciting new flagship in Tokyo. The bags you’ll find in store include the iconic quilted leather bags with gold hardware and a range of casual shapes, chain-strap bags, and evening clutches. To compliment the vivid colors of the ready-to-wear line, the purses and totes also come in an array of warm shades with pops of electric blues, pinks, and oranges.
