"I wanted to do it in Zermatt, because that place is just natural," says Richard. "And because it's magical. That's where we went when Sarah was pregnant with Zion." Zermatt is also the place where Sarah was born, and where her father is currently based. "It's honestly the most beautiful place on Earth," she adds.

"When we were there, [I checked the] weather forecast and there were only two sunny days. The rest of the days were overcast," the actor continues. "So I was waiting for that sunny day to finally happen. And the entire time we were there, I was carrying a camera bag [to film the proposal]. So hindi humihiwalay 'yung bag na' yun kahit saan ako pumunta [the bag was always with me wherever I went]."

On that one sunny day, the two went hiking. Richard explains he didn't have a particular place in mind to propose. "I just wanted to rely on my gut feel [to say] 'okay this is the perfect time," he says.

While hiking, they found a restaurant bar in the middle of the Alps. "It was on an iconic mountain in Switzerland, then the tip of the Matterhorn was right behind us," says Richard. It seemed like a good spot at first, but the restaurant wasn't as romantic as they expected it to be. "They were playing rock music, like alternative rock," he explains. Sarah adds, "And I was complaining about it every minute."

Setting off to find a better spot, Richard decided on the space behind the resto. "You just walk a little bit and there’s like the perfect place overlooking the mountains. So I told her, 'Let’s stop over there. I’ll set up my camera and tripod.'"

Since the two really love taking pictures and did this all the time, Sarah didn't think much of it. "As I was setting up my camera, I told her, 'Play your own music, whatever music you like'." So Sarah obliged, and funnily enough, she chose to play The Weeknd's I Feel It Coming.

With the camera set up, the show was finally on the road. "I go to her, and I say 'Okay, smile' and then she was kissing me. And then there I kneeled down and she started crying," he recalls.

The proposal was caught perfectly on film like Richard intended. "That's me crying for five minutes. I was ugly crying," Sarah points out as they showed the clips.

"He took me on a helicopter ride after he proposed. That up there is the Matterhorn," she says, showing the team the photo of her ring.

What a whirlwind. Congratulations, you two!
