Meet Catriona Gray's Dream Team Behind Her Miss Universe Win

The stars in the universe aligned for Catriona Gray and led her to bring home the Miss Universe 2018 crown. But what many don't know is how she meticulously prepared for the competition, starting by carefully handpicking the members of her team to join her Miss Universe journey. Without further ado, here are the members of Catriona's dream team:

Harley Tan and Erickson Raymundo, Managers

Both Harley and Erickson helped Catriona book modeling gigs even before her Miss Universe journey started.

Mak Tumang, Designer

Mak Tumang was enlisted by Catriona to create her evening gowns. He is behind the Ibong Adarna and Lava gowns which were both made in close collaboration with the beauty queen. In the fashion world, Mak is known for his intricately-made and opulent couture gowns.

Jearson Demavivas, Designer

Jearson had previously worked with Catriona after making her Binibining Pilipinas national costume. This time around, not only did he make her Miss Universe national costume, he also supplied the Filipino-inspired wardrobe she took to Bangkok for the competition.

Jojo Bragais, Shoe designer

Jojo was responsible for Catriona's shoe needs for the pageant, but perhaps his most intricate project was the pair of thigh-high boots he made as part of Catriona's national costume.

Jelly Eugenio, Makeup artist

Catriona owes her pageant makeup skills to the training she received from celebrity makeup artist Jelly Eugenio. He is behind Cat's cat eyeshadow technique that gave the beauty queen eyes an instant lift with just the right stroke of the brush.

Brent Sales, Hairstylist

Cat's skills with the hair iron is all thanks to Brent, who taught her how to tame and style her hair. Their hard work definitely paid off and is seen in the form of Catriona's perfect hair flip during the swimsuit competition.

Nicole Cordoves, Mentor

A beauty queen herself, Nicole helped Catriona nail the question and answer portion of the competition. With her previous experience as a public speaking trainer, she coached Catriona to think on her toes and give meaningful answers with a heart-warming touch.
