The first time we fell in love with Jun Ji Hyun wasn’t when she played a mystical mermaid in The Legend of the Blue Sea; and nope, it also wasn’t when she starred opposite Kim Soo Hyun in My Love from the Star. You probably don’t even remember this, but it was My Sassy Girl, a 2001 South Korean romantic comedy film, that first introduced us to this achingly beautiful actress—and yup, if you do the math, that’s about 16 years ago.

We’re gonna go ahead and state the obvious—this girl just doesn’t seem to age! Seeing her photos from over a decade ago, it’s almost as if the 35-year-old actress has been drinking from the fountain of youth. But seriously, what’s the secret to her clear, radiant, and youthful skin?

According to Korea Bizwire, Ji Hyun is very meticulous about facial cleansing. She starts by washing her face with lukewarm water for a quick steam and then rinses off the cleansing foam with cold water to seal her pores. “The key to her cleansing is not to rub the cleanser for too long,” and then she massages her face by gently tapping on it using her fingertips.

Sufficient water intake and a good night’s sleep are also vital to her beauty routine. She keeps herself hydrated all throughout the day by drinking lots of water so that her sensitive skin stays moisturized as well. Every night before going to bed, she does lower-body bathing and light stretching or meditation to help induce sleep.

Finally, when it comes to staying fit, Ji Hyun has one simple answer: “I exercise,” she says. She eats whatever she wants and doesn't really believe in strict diets, but to compensate for it, she does jogging and yoga every day in order to stay in tiptop shape. The actress also describes herself as a morning person; she wakes up at six in the morning and goes straight to workout.

No wonder she looks forever young!
