From her wedding dress alone, Meghan Markle proved herself to be quite the modern bride. Which is why when Prince Harry lifted her veil and revealed her beauty look, it was no surprise that she went the minimal route as well.
According to Allure, the bride wore a low, center-parted bun created by hairstylist Serge Normant, which highlighted the curve of her Filigree tiara. The rest of her locks were loosely pinned at a low angle instead of being twisted or braided tightly.
Meanwhile, Meghan's makeup for the altar wasn't too far off from her go-to look, except her skin looked more luminous than ever. For one, her base appeared quite sheer, enough to show off her freckles like she prefers it. We can see something like Giorgio Armani's Luminous Silk Foundation, a product Meghan's former makeup artist used on her all the time, to perfectly achieve such a finish.
Having hooded eyelids, the new Duchess of Sussex usually defines her eyes using eyelashes rather than eyeshadow. She used the same technique for her big day, with tons of mascara and maybe even some falsies to give the outer corners of her eyes a cat-like flick.
That said, her lips were perhaps the simplest part of her look—an almost-pale nude with a satin finish. While this could very well be Meghan's natural lip color with a hint of clear lip gloss, it could also be a lipstick like British makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury's Matte Revolution in Very Victoria.
