If you're wondering why you still don't have Erich Gonzalez's abs even after you've done hundreds of crunches at the gym, Harley Pasternak is here to drop a major truth bomb. Harley is a famous Hollywood trainer. He's worked with Ariana Grande, Lady Gaga, Megan Fox, Nina Dobrev, and Kim Kardashian.

And what do they all have in common? A gorgeous physique!

According to Harley, everyone's born with abdominal muscles, which means, technically, we all already have a six pack. But because we also have body fat, that ends up blocking our abs. The reason why your crunches, or other core workouts, aren't working is because you can't target fat burn: "If you want to have a great midsection, then don't worry about the midsection."

Apparently, you should be walking instead. Harley makes his clients walk 10,000 to 14,000 steps a day. And that's already 50 percent of what you could be doing to get that six pack. Furthermore, to avoid getting a "pooch," Harley recommends targeting your upper and lower back to elongate your torso.
